Start a Practice Conversation
Follow these steps to connect, practice, and receive your feedback report.
Get Ready
Read the scenario title and information about the person you will be coaching. Then scan the helpful notes on the right before you begin.
Connect To The Scenario
Select the green play button to connect. When prompted after selecting it, allow microphone access. Once the scenario is live, the control changes to a red end-call button. Use the microphone button at any time to mute or unmute yourself.
Greet Your AI Practice Partner
Once you are connected, start speaking naturally; your AI practice partner is listening. The timer shows how much time you have left.
Coach And Use The Brief
Ask open questions, listen closely, and give the other person time to think. Use the right-hand panel to revisit their situation, helpful coaching suggestions, and things to watch for without losing sight of the conversation.
End The Conversation And Wait For Feedback
Use the red end-call button only when the conversation feels complete. Your conversation needs to last long enough for ConveraLab to create a feedback report, so do not end it too soon. After ending the call, keep the page open while ConveraLab reviews the conversation and prepares your report.
Keep The Conversation Moving
Report Not Available?
Make sure the conversation lasted long enough before you ended the call.
Microphone Trouble
Check browser permission and make sure another app is not using the microphone, then retry.
Connection Or Upload Trouble
If the connection or upload fails, retry from the message shown on screen. A partly completed conversation may still be saved.
